Joren Veldheer
Joren Veldheer (1987) studied law, with the specialization in criminal law, at the University of Amsterdam and the University of Bologna (Italy). After completing this, he worked for almost two years as a clerk at the Court of Appeal in Amsterdam. In 2014 he started working as a criminal defense lawyer. He joined FvKG Advocaten in July 2020.
As a lawyer Joren has been involved in various (complex) criminal cases. This ranges from violent- and drug cases to big criminal cases regarding criminal organizations. Joren has built up a national law practice, which means that he comes in all courts and tribunals in the Netherlands for his clients - both major and minors. His assistance is characterized by thorough, good case study, clear communication and sharpness during court hearings.
Joren successfully completed the Criminal Law specialization course at the Willem Pompe Institute for Criminal Law Sciences and Utrecht University in 2020/21 and is therefore a specialist in criminal cases.
In addition to his work as a lawyer, Joren has been a deputy judge in (juvenile) criminal law at the Noord-Holland District Court since 2022.
Joren is a member of the Dutch Association of Criminal Law Attorneys (NVSA) and an honorary member of the Dutch Association of Young Criminal Lawyers (NVJSA).

Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
